Overview
As a hands-on developer and a member of the Platform Development team, you will be engaged in the software development process from conception through successful delivery.
Responsibilities
- Working with the team on overall design of key software components, including backend correlation and integration engine and Web-based enterprise applications.
- Hands-on development of high performance UI and database components.
- Experience leading the design / development of a component or subsystem of a larger development effort.
Qualifications
- BSCS/MSCS technical degree or equivalent.
- Recent professional or open-source experience with modern high-level programming languages like PHP, Python, Ruby, ActionScript, etc.
- Strong server-side development background (multi-threading, high performance, and scalability).
- Hands-on knowledge of relational database development (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Pragmatic judgment, "killer instinct" to get things done, etc.
- Ability to motivate your colleagues by your own contribution, professionalism, leadership and teamwork
- Team leadership experience within a dynamic company considered a plus
- Knowledge or experience developing enterprise systems management or security management applications considered a plus
- Experience developing or integrating with enterprise IT management/ security software considered a plus
